The Molong pallasite was found in County Ashbumhain, New South Wales, Australia in 1912. A mass of 230 pounds was found on Ti Tree Creek, 12 miles NW of Canoblas. This is a meteorite that is very rarely available. Unlike most pallasites you see, Molong is almost all olivine crystals with just a little metal between them. The olivine crystals are semi-translucent, you can't see through them, but you can see reflections from within the crystals. Unfortunately all the pieces are small less than 5 grams. The faint lines on the background are 1/4 inch apart.
