This meteorite fell March 5, 1960, Burkina Faso (formerly Upper Volta),
Africa.
It is classified as a stone chondrite H5. Thousands small stones have been
found in the area by locals. I was fortunate enough to have
the opportunity to pick several kilograms of Gao and select some very nice
pieces. All of the following are 100% covered with fusion crust unless
noted otherwise.
