A number of small fragments of iron were found in and around a crater 70
feet across and 11 feet deep, in 1923, but only one of 40g was preserved in E.S.
Simpson's collection. In 1960 a further 207 pieces were
collected around the crater and about 1/2 were mesosiderite and the rest
shale. About 20 pounds was found in the crater and it was all shale.
So of the 10.1 kg listed as the total known weight almost all is
shale. The pieces below were cherry picked a solid dense
individuals and should have good metal in them.
