The Boxhole
crater was found in June 1937 near the Plenty river, Northern Territory,
Australia. A number of iron fragments and shale balls were found. An
82 kilogram mass was later found. Boxhole is classified as an iron,
medium octahedrite (1.0mm), IIIA. Lines in the background are
1/4 inch apart.
