Allende slices/end cuts

For Sale

In addition to CAI's, both smooth edged and ragged edged there are other interesting inclusions in Allende.  There are  troilite rimmed chondrules, and 2 different types of black clasts as well as some nice large 3mm+ chondrules.   The troilite rimmed chondrules had a fine vapor of FeS around them while they were still free floating chondrules.   They look like  other chondrules, except they have a golden rim around the outer edge of the chondrule. This inclusion is not rare, but it is not common either.

The first type of black clast is a very fine grained material without chondrules.  There seems to be very little published about this type of clast.  It is not often seen.   The second type of black clast is even rarer and it is a CM2 inclusion within the CV3 Allende.  The matrix is fine grained and there are small chondrules within it.
