Sayh al Uhaymir 001

       This meteorite Sayh al Uhaymir 001 was found on March 16, 2000 in Oman.  It was classified as an L4/5 stone chondrite with a stock rating of 2 and a weathering grade of 1. (Fa mol % 24.7 Fs mol % 21.4.)  These pieces were recovered by me in Nov 2003.  They are the nicest of the SAU001 pieces I recovered.   A few pieces have a real nice golden tone on them, possibly frosted by a melting inclusion during the fall.
